Pilates can improve your flexibility and posture, strengthen your core, aid recovery from injury and generally help you move better.
I run group classes in and around Portishead. I currently run Beginners, Improvers & Postnatal classes and some combined classes.
Beginners = offering a gentle introduction to Pilates, ideal for anyone who is new to Pilates, or returning after a long period of absence.
Improvers = a more challenging class, which introduces some of the more advanced exercises while still maintaining a strong focus on the fundamentals and technique.
Beginners / Improvers = the majority of my classes are combined beginners & improvers classes. They cover a large range of exercises and all exercises can be layered allowing everyone to learn, feel challenged and continue to improve their Pilates practice.
Postnatal = specifically aimed at those who have had a baby in the last year and include an additional focus on pelvic floor exercises and abdominal separation.
All classes work on core strength, flexibility and posture. Pilates can also help you reduce or prevent lower back pain.
